Terms of Service

The rules and conditions for using this website and engaging with our consulting services.

Last updated: 26 June 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://shaheryardev.com(the “Website”) operated by Shaheryar(“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

Separate written agreements (proposals, statements of work, contracts, or invoices) govern paid consulting engagements and take precedence over these Terms where they conflict.

1. About our services

Shaheryar provides business technology consulting, including WordPress and WooCommerce development, custom booking systems, automation, and related advisory services for service businesses. Information on this Website is for general marketing and educational purposes. It does not constitute a binding offer until confirmed in writing.

2. Eligibility and business use

The Website is intended for business owners, operators, and professionals evaluating technology services. You represent that you have the authority to bind any business entity on whose behalf you submit enquiries or book sessions.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Website for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data.
  • Interfere with Website security, including bypassing CAPTCHA, rate limits, or honeypot protections.
  • Scrape, harvest, or automate access to content in a way that burdens our infrastructure.
  • Submit false, misleading, or malicious information through contact or audit forms.
  • Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

We may suspend or block access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

4. Contact forms, enquiries, and communications

When you submit a form or contact us, you agree that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You consent to us using that information to respond to your enquiry and discuss potential services, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Submitting a form or booking a call does not create a client relationship or obligation to deliver work until both parties agree to specific scope, fees, and terms in writing.

5. Strategy sessions and consultations

Introductory or strategy sessions booked through Calendly or arranged directly are intended for discovery and planning. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Sessions are informational and do not include implementation work.
  • Recommendations are based on information you provide and may change if facts change.
  • You are responsible for decisions made in your business following a session.
  • Cancellation and rescheduling should be made with reasonable notice via the booking tool or email.

6. Intellectual property

Website content

Unless stated otherwise, all content on this Website, including text, graphics, logos, layouts, case study narratives, blog articles, icons, and code samples displayed for demonstration, is owned by or licensed to Shaheryar and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit Website content without prior written permission.

Client work and deliverables

Ownership and licence terms for custom development, designs, and deliverables are defined in project agreements. Portfolio references, screenshots, and anonymised case descriptions may be used for marketing unless a client agreement states otherwise.

Third-party materials

Trademarks, logos, and software belonging to third parties (e.g. WordPress, WooCommerce, client brands) remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on this site does not imply endorsement beyond factual description of tools used.

7. Third-party links and tools

The Website may link to external sites (client live demos, social profiles, scheduling tools, documentation, etc.). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.

8. Disclaimers

The Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. See our Disclaimer for additional detail on informational content, case studies, and results.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shaheryar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Website or reliance on its content.

Our total liability for claims relating to the Website (excluding liability that cannot be limited by law) shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for services in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD $100).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shaheryar from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights through content or information you submit.

11. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Changes to the Website and Terms

We may modify the Website or these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Shaheryar operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the Website shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to the competent courts or forums in that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

14. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement regarding use of the Website, except where superseded by a signed client agreement.
